My client is seeking a Conveyancer to join their leading Property Department on a fully remote basis. 1+ years of experience is required to be considered for this role.
Day-to-Day duties will include:
• Client Communication: collecting client information, taking instructions, and explaining the process.
• Legal work: drafting and reviewing sale-purchase agreements, conducting searches, raising inquiries, coordinating with all parties regarding exchange and completion, preparation for completion, preparation of completion statements, preparation of completion statements, organising funds transfers, advising on, and dealing with SDLT returns and submissions to the Land Registry.
• Mortgage liaison: communicating with lenders, processing mortgage offers, and obtaining redemption figures for existing mortgages. Must have experience with bridging finance, as well as high street lenders.
• Team Communication: liaise effectively with our Practice Manger and report accordingly.
• Record keeping by updating our internal management system.
• Staying up-to-date with legal and regulatory changes affecting conveyancing.
Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified licensed conveyancer, Conveyancing Executive or solicitor with 1+ years' experience in residential property transactions.
• Commercial property transactions experience is a plus but not essential. Training for commercial transactions will be provided.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work efficiently and independently. They aim to complete transactions within 10-12 weeks, efficiency is paramount.
• Strong understanding of Property Law principles and procedures related to all property transactions.
• Experience with new-build purchases. Training will be provided if experience is limited.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team environment.
